Thomas C. KortenThomas Korten brings 10-years of banking experience to ETAdvantage. A graduate of RainerBank’s management training program he excelled in branch banking performing as an operations officer responsible for all customer services in charge of the State’s largest branch. For six years he performed as an officer in the Head Office Operations Department, where he wrote and implemented bank policy for the 100 statewide branches and performed as the bank’s project manager for major customer service programs. He managed the introduction and expansion the bank's ATM programs, represented the bank in the Automated Clearinghouse and planned, implemented/managed the bank’s universal account program and bundled account services leading to its debit card program and other branch electronic banking programs. He has been a long-time advocate for automated teller machines and the operational/marketing issues surrounding their successful implementation, expansion of the technology and their ongoing customer use.
After leaving banking he took Edmark Corporation from a bankrupt entity into a nationally known publisher of educational print and software learning systems. He began developing and marketing educational software in 1981, took the company public in 1985 and acquired a hardware company offering resistive membrane touch screen technology, refined the technology and expanded its acceptance and use in the marketplace.
For over 15-years he has provided management and operational consulting services to small to large companies in a variety of markets including work with ATM’s. He brings a wealth of ATM and business experience to ETAdvantage and its Consulting Services programs.
Jerry Davies
Jerry Davies began his banking career in 1966 with National Bank of Commerce. The bank changed its name to Rainier Bank and later merged with Security Pacific Bank. His experience in banking is diversified in the planning, implementation and operation of corporate programs. He has exceptional analytical, strategic planning and negotiation skills with special ability to coordinate complex business details. As Vice President and ATM/POS Manager for the West Jerry work for the equipment services division, centralized in Washington. Jerry consulted on all major equipment installations and service projects for five western states. Jerry was selected by his peers (other Banks and Credit Unions) to represent them in seven western states as the regional director of the Diebold user group TAG. The organization included over 250 Banks and Credit Unions in the West.
In 1997 Jerry was the co-founder and President of ETAdvantage. The company was a full service ATM company employing over 20 field staff in three western states. Jerry’s roll as president was developing a diversified equipment service company supporting the community bank space in the NW. Within 18 months he had accomplished that task with over 30 Banks and Credit Unions under an umbrella of full service offerings generating over 1.8 million in revenue annually. In the fall of 1999 Jerry took on a new program with NCR. NCR was looking at moving forward with sales and service into the community financial space. Jerry was one of nine hired for this task. He was in the program for 11 years and today the program supports over 50 sales staff nationwide. Jerry achieved seven trips to the NCR Century Point Club (CPC) to include one of two sales chosen from the US to attend the President Club in Paris. Jerry is semiretired today supporting the continued needs within the community financial institution space.
